Laura Mae Gilmore, 88, of Fife Lake died, Sat. June 28, 1980 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Flint.
She was born Dec. 28, 1891 at Fife Lake, MI, to Benjamin and Catherine (Gauld) Blake.
She was married on Dec. 1, 1910 at Fife Lake, to Earl Gilmore.
Surviving are one son: Rheo Gilmore of Fife Lake; two daughters, Mrs. Cyril (Mildred) Nelson of Saginaw and Mrs. Harold (Lorraine) Hem of Flint. One sister, Mrs. William (Fern) Condon of Flint, several nieces and nephews and 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Gilmore in 1962, a granddaughter, two brothers and four sisters.
Mrs. Gilmore had lived in Flint until retiring back to Fife Lake in 1957.
Funeral date was Wed. July 2, 1980 at 1:00 p.m. in the Fife Lake Methodist Church. Rev. Athel J. Lynch officiated. Burial was in the Springfield Township Cemetery.
The family received friends at the Covell-Smith Funeral Home on Monday and Tuesday evenings.
