Olive L. Skinner, 71, of Fife Lake, died Monday afternoon, February 24, 1975 at Munson Medical Center after a short illness. 

The daughter of Benjamin R. and Catherine Blake, Mrs. Skinner was born April 19, 1903, in Springfield Township, Kalkaska County. She married Charles (Fred) Skinner on May 19, 1934. The couple moved from Dearborn Heights to their farm on Shippy Road, Fife Lake, in June 1967. Mrs. Skinner was a member of Chapter 484, Order of Eastern Stars, Dearborn; and White Shrine No. 47, Dearborn. 

Mrs. Skinner was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Scott, Mrs. Elvira Butler and Mrs. Wilma Miner; and two brothers, Clarence and Floyd Blake. Surviving are her husband, Charles; a daughter, Mrs. John (Christina) Kneip of Fife Lake; a son, Wilbur J. Haskin of Lincoln Park; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Laura Gilmore of Fife Lake and Mrs. Fern Condon of flint; a sister in law, Mrs. Marjorie Blake of Fife Lake; and nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives. 

Funeral services were held Thursday, February 27, 1975 at the Smith Funeral Home in Kingsley with Eddie L. Bratton officiating. Burial was made in Clark Cemetery, Springfield Township, Kalkaska County.
