Wilma H. Miner, 77, of Fife Lake, died Tuesday night at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center after a long illness. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday at the Smith Funeral Home in Kingsley with the Rev. Geary Bird of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Kalkaska, officiating. Burial will be in Clark Cemetery, Springfield Township, Kalkaska County. Mrs. Miner was born March 7, 1897, in Springfield Township, to Catherine and Benjamin R. Blake. On March 14, 1914, she was married to Oscar Miner who preceded her in Death Sept. 14, 1973. also preceding her in death were her parents, two infant sons, two sisters, Gertrude Scott and Elvira Butler and two brothers, Clarence and Floyd Blake. Mrs. Miner is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Audrey) McCormic of Fife Lake, Mrs. Maurice (Dorothy) Sivic of Troy; one son, Michael Miner of Traverse City; three sisters, Mrs. Laura Gilmore and Mrs. Fred (Olive) Skinner of Fife Lake and Mrs. Fern Condon of Flint; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Fred Skinner and one sister-in-law, Mrs. Margie Blake. Memorials may be directed to the St. Paul Lutheran Church, Kalkaska, of which Mrs. Miner was a member.
