Eva Dorothy Ritter, 78, of Frederic, died Friday at Mercy Hospital in Grayling.
She was born and raised in Fife Lake, then lived in Sharon after her marriage, and has been a resident of Frederic since 1952. She had worked in the Senior Companion Program of the Commission on Aging, and was a member of the Frederic Hobby Club.
Born Nov. 23, 1913, in Fife Lake, she was the daughter of Albert and Della (Ingersoll) Haskin.
She is survived by two sons, Glen Kimball of Oklahoma City and Thomas Kimball of Kincheloe; three daughters, Kaye Welch and Beryl Kammer, both of Frederic, and Judith Haas of Bradenton, Fla; one sister, Mae Clark of North Carolina; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one sons, Carroll Kimball in 1983; seven brothers and sisters, Erwin Haskin, Erva Burt, Ada McCabe, Lucy Kelly, Lester Haskin, Elsie Birgy, and Ann Robbins.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Covell-Smith Funeral Home, Kingsley. The Rev. John Gleason will officiate.
