Ann L. Robbins, 71, a former nurse's aide at the Michigan Veteran's Facility in Grand Rapids, died Tuesday at Munson Medical Center.
She had lived in Fife Lake since 1982, coming from Comstock Park. She had retired after 20 years' employment with the Veteran's Facility.
Born in Fife Lake on Dec. 7, 1916, she was the daughter of Albert and Della (Ingersoll) Haskin. On May 6, 1943, in Grand Rapids, she married William Paul Robbins, who died in 1965.
She is survived by a son, Richard Robbins of Dimondale; two sisters, Eva Ritter of Frederick and Ina Mae Clark of Kalkaska; and three grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were two brothers, Erwin and Lester Haskin; and four sisters, Ada McCabe, Elsie Birgy, Erva Burt, and Lucy Kelly.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Covell-Smith Funeral Home in Kingsley. The Rev. Gary Wales will officiated. Burial will be in Springfield Township Cemetery, Fife Lake.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 this evening and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday.
