Arden LeRoy Williams, 56, of Rt. 1, Fife Lake, died at Kalkaska Tue.
Born Mar 3, 1921 at Fife Lake to Floyd and Elsie Williams, he was a lifelong Fife Lake resident. A US Army veteran of World War II, Mr. Williams served on the board of directors of the Walton Junction Sportsman’s Club and was an avid fisherman.
Surviving are his wife, Elaine (Blass) Williams; three sons, Larry L of Fife Lake, Daniel D. of Cadillac and Floyd A. “Shorty” of Grand Rapids; a daughter, Mrs. Michael (Judy) Long of Lowell; three brothers, Elery and Orris both of Fife Lake, and Gene of Gaylord; a sister, Mrs. Robert (Nettie) Sanford of Detroit; and seven grandchildren.
The funeral will be held Friday at 2pm at the Smith Funeral Home in Kingsley with burial at Springfield Township Cemetery, Fife Lake.
