Ella Mae Klassen, 72, of Gladwin, died Thu, January 12, 1995 at the Hilltop Manor in Roscommon following a long illness.
She was born Jun 10, 1922 in Detroit. The former Ella Mae Foote married Frank Klassen Jun 28, 1941 in Gladwin. He preceded her in death August 30, 1988.
Surviving are one daughter, Avis and husband, Marvin Blowers of Ashtabula, OH; 7 sons, Frank Jr. and his wife, Leah, of Sandy Lake, PA, Fred and wife, Nancy, of Gladwin, Aaron and wife Kathy of Cincinnati, OH, Toby and wife, Joanne, of Baraga, Gary and wife Lenore of Gladwin, Paul and wife Beth of Alger, and Vern and wife Suzanne of St. Johns; 2 sisters, Effie Bauer of Midland, and Shirley Dassay of Coleman; 3 brothers, Charles of Mountain Home, AK, Lyle of Clare, and Kenneth of Chase; 17 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Loretta Beebe and Betty Demaray.
Rites were held at 11am Mon from the Sisson Funeral Home in Gladwin with Pastors Paul Klassen and Melvin Stauffer officiating. Burial was in the Butman Township Cemetery, Gladwin.
