Charles Richard Foote, 85

A funeral service for Charles Richard Foot of Mountain Home, Arkansas, will be 2 pm Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Marilyn Shultz officiating. Visitation will be from 4 until 7 pm, Tuesday, Jun e 18, 2013 at the funeral home.

Charles passed away June 16, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 85. He was born June 28, 1927, in Gladwin, Michigan, the son of George and Elsie Westover Foote. He married Frances Lois Foote on November 17, 1973, at Midland, Michigan and worked as a production manager for Dow Chemical. Charles was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. Charles lived in Mountain Home since 1983, moving from Midland, Michigan. He was an electrician and former Boy Scout Master and Advisor. He enjoyed woodworking, carpentry and was always doing something, yard work, building or fixing cars.

Charles is survived by his wife, Frances Foote of Mountain Home, AR; 10 children, Jan Holdmann of Phoenix, AZ, Jeff Foote of Bay City, MI, Gene Foote of Shepard, Mi, Scott Foote of Bay City, MI, Jerry (Becky) Stillwagon of Rio Rancho, NM, Dave Stillwagon of Coco, FL, Doug (Amanda) Stillwagon of Melborne, FL, Bonnie (Roy) Wright of Corinth, MS, Kay (Felix) Colon of Kimball, MI and Mike (Holly) Stillwagon of Midland, Mi; son-in-law, Pat Bock of Geneva, IL; bromer, “Mike” Lyle Foote of NC; sister, Shirley (Emerson) Dassey of Colman, MI; 12 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Bock; brother Kenneth Foote and 4 sisters, Betty Demeray, Effie Bauer, Loretta Beebe, and Ella Mae Klassen.

Burial will be in the Kirby’s Trucker Memorial Cemetery, Mountain Home, Arkansas with Gene Foote, Jeff Foote, Scott Foote, Dave Stillwagon, David Stillwagon, Chris Wright and Pat Brock as pallbearers, Military Honors will be provided by the Ozark VFW Post #3246 Honor Guard.
