Funeral services for Arthur H. Gauld, 83, of Liberty Township in Wexford County near Fife Lake, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Smith Funeral Home in Kingsley. Rev. Alfred Nelson officiating, with burial in Clark Cemetery near Fife Lake.
Mr. Gauld died early Tuesday at Traverse City Osteopathic hospital after a a lingering illness.
He was born November 2, 1882 at Fife Lake, the son of George and Katherine Gauld, and had been a farmer in Fife Lake township and for the past 16 years in Liberty Township.
On November 29, 1910 he was married to Clara M. Cunningham, who survives.
Also surviving are: four sons, Lyman of Muskegon, and Garth, Stanley, and Glad of Fife Lake; 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; and other relatives.
His parents, three sisters and two brothers preceded him in death.
