William R. Heckman, 88, of Cridersville, died peacefully at home on January 5, 2012 after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. A veteran of WWII, he retired from Superior Coach Corp after 40 years of employment.
He was preceded in death by daughters, Barbara June and Karen (Wilbur) Glaze.
Survived by his loving wife of 70 years, June; daughters, Joyce (Bruce) Merry, Vicki (Terry) Selby, and son William (Linda), 8 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sat, January 7, from 1 to 3pm at Bayliff & Son Funeral Home, Cridersville, OH.
