Burt, Stanley B. of Flint, MI and Lake Havasu City, AZ, died February 29, 2000 in Arizona. A memorial service will be held at the West Court Street Church of God, West Court at Beecher Rd. at 1:30 PM April 8, 2000, Rev. Thomas Settlemyre and Rev. Donald O'Leary will be officiating. Burial at Clark's Cemetery, Fife Lake, MI. Stanley was born June 25, 1931 in Flint, MI, the son of Floyd and Erva Burt. He graduated from Flint Central High School in 1949 and earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Eastern Michigan University and his Masters Degree from the University of Colorado. He was a teach for the Van Dyke Public Schools in Warren, MI for 33 years. Mr. Burt was a retired member of the MEA. He is survived by: his brother, Bernard Burt of Liverpool, NY, sisters, Virginia (Eugene) Corwin of Roscommon, MI, Della (Charles) Sisler of Flushing, MI, June Davis, Joy (Marvin) Birchmeier, Judith (Ernest) Thompson and Janice (David) Florida, all of Flint, MI; friend James Haltman of Arizona, and many nieces, nehpews, cousins, and friends.
