Mildred A (Silvers) Powers, 88, of Battle Creek died Fri, Sep 25, 1992, at Battle Creek Health System/Community Site.
Mrs. Powers was born Dec 3, 1903, in Newberry to Elsie and Dora (Lansings) Silvers.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed embroidering, sewing, cooking and fishing.
She married the former Homer G. Powers, who died in 1963. She also was preceded in death by daughters, Marjori and Goulda Powers, and a son, Kenneth Powers.
She is survived by daughters, Juanita France of Delton, Della Griffin, Betty Phillips, and Lillian Wilkerson, all of Battle Creek; sons, Doug Powers, Junior Powers, and Richard Powers, all of Battle Creek; several grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
Visitation: 5 to 9 pm today and 9 am to 9 pm Sunday at Royal Funeral Home.
Services: Graveside services at 1 pm. Monday at Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Robert Mujrhead officiating.
Burial: Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens.
