Mrs. Luwana I. Ingersoll, 67, of Fife Lake, died Saturday, July 14, 1990, at Munson Medical Center.
Mrs. Ingersoll had been a resident of Fife Lake for the past 62 years. She enjoyed her family and friends.
She was born in Jennings, Michigan on February 5, 1923, to Fred and Katie Olmstead Helsel. On April 26, 1940, in South Bend, Indiana, she was married to Frank Ingersoll. He died on April 4, 1975.
Surviving are three sons, Steve Ingersoll, Harold Ingersoll, and John Ingersoll all of Fife Lake; two daughters, Joyce Ingersoll and Jean Ingersoll both of Fife Lake; two brothers, Francis Helsel of Baldwin, and Jack Helsel of Fife Lake; two sisters, Effie Davis of Cedar Springs and Bertha Baker of Muskegon; nine grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
One daughter, Shirley White, preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 17, 1990, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Dan Ingersoll officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
