Steve R. Ingersoll, 56, of Fife Lake, died Tue, Dec 2, 1997, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mr. Ingersoll had been a lifelong resident of Kalkaska County, and was employed by Eagle-Picher prior to his retirement. He served with the U.S. Army during Vietnam. He enjoyed hunting, farming, and gardening.
Born in Kalkaska County on Apr 13, 1941, he was the son of Frank and Luwana Helsel Ingersoll. On Oct 19, 1968, in Kalkaska, he was united in marriage with Linda Trilo, who survives.
Also surviving are son Dough of Fife Lake; daughter Kate, at home; brothers Harold and John Ingersoll, both of Fife Lake; sisters Joyce and Jean Ingersoll, both of Fife Lake; and several nieces and nephews. A sister, Shirley White, preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Dec 5 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Pastor Dan Ingersoll officiated. Burial was in Ingersoll Cemetery, Kalkaska.
