Lola M. Mullholand, 85, of Fremont, OH, Passed away on Sat, Jan 18, 2014 at Memorial Hospital.
She was born Mar 16, 1928 in Ada, OH, the daughter of John and Grace (Elzay) VanAtta. She was a 1946 graduate of Ada High School. Lola married Jack W. Mullholand on May 27, 1949 and he survives.
She was a homemaker. Lola was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and volunteered at St. Joseph School Cafeteria and Church Rectory. She was an avid bridge player and enjoyed gardening and cooking.
Lola is survived by her husband of 64 years, Jack W. Mullholand, Fremont, OH; children, Joan (Michael E) Guthrie, North Royalton, OH, Jack A. Mullholand, Fremont, OH; grandchildren, Laura, Nicole, and Michael S. Guthrie; siblings, Lloyd VanAtta, Ada, OH, John VanAtta, Lakeview, OH, and Marie Wolgamot, Columbus, OH; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughters, Beverly and Jane; the burden of the loss of her daughters carried with her throughout her remaining years.
Visitation Fri from 9 to 10:45am at Wonderly Horvath Hanes Funeral Home and Crematory, Fremont, OH. Mass of Christian Burial: Fri, Jan 24, 2014, 11am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fremont, OH, with Fr. Michael Zacharias officiating. Burial will take place at St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date.
