Gilbert Dale Ries, Dansville, age 76, died Jan 20, 2014. Born Nov 1, 1937 to Dale and Esther (Every) Ries.
Gilbert was a retired carpenter from General Motors. He enjoyed farming, fishing, football, Carlings, and kisses. Gilbert was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donald; and sister Georgia.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene; 3 daughters, Debra, Josephine, Penny; one son, Michael; 11 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 4 brothers, Richard (Carol), Gordon, Milton (Sharon), Clayton (Betty), and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held on Fri, Jan 24, 2014 at 2pm at the Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes with Pastor Terry Turner officiating. Visitation will be held on Thu, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the funeral home.
