Arelene E. Ries of Dansville, age 71, died Wed, Apr 29, 2015. Born May 3, 1943 to Josephine and Arden Rall. Arlene was dedicated to her family and friends. She enjoyed crocheting, gambling, game shows, playing cards, and had a successful career raising leader dogs for the blind.
Arlene was preceded in death by her husband Gilbert, in 2014; parents; and sister, Darlene. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Debra, Josephine, Penny (Fred Heiler); one son, Michael (Sherrie); 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brother Gerald and sister in law, Betty; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Arlene’s life will be held on her birthday, Sun, May 3, 2015 at 4pm at the Leslie Funeral Home with Pastor Terry Turner officiating. Visitation will be held on Sun from 2 to 4 pm at the funeral home prior to the service.
