Gary Douglas Wright, 47, Ada, died Tue evening at Lima Memorial Hospital. 

Born Nov 15, 1944, in Lima, he was the son of the late R. Wayne and Anna Margaret (Elzay) Wright.

On Oct 12, 1968, he married Mabel L Castle, she survives. 

He worked at Ford Motor Company in Lima for 24 years as a high-low driver. He was a US Navy veteran of the Vietnam Conflict. Mr. Wright was a member of Sugar Grove United Methodist Church, Liberty Grange and Farmer's and Merchant's Picnic Board. He was a 1963 graduate of Ada High School.

Also surviving are two sons, Gary Lee Wright, Seattle, WA, and Shane R Wright at home; a daughter, Starlene Wright, Ada; three brothers, Ralph Wright, Ada, Floyd Wright, Odessa, TX, and Bill Wright, Wapakoneta; seven sisters, Mrs. Norma Davis, Marion, Mrs. Lester (Evelyn) Fleming, Lafayette, Mrs. Betty Klingler, Ada, Mrs. Robert (Pat) Betz, Kenton, Mrs. Cecil Williams, Cairo, Mrs. Ron (Phyllis Jean) Vermillion, Belle Center, and Mrs. Dan (Helen) Smith, Lima; and a granddaughter.

The funeral is 10:30 am Sat at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada, with the Rev. Glenn Schwerdtfeger officiating. Burial is in Woodlawn Cemetery. Friends may call 7 to 9 tonight, and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Friday at the funeral home. 

A Grange memorial service 8:30 pm Friday at the funeral home. Graveside military services will be conducted by the Ada American Legion Post.
