Betty Jo Wright Klingler, 83, died at 12:20 pm July 7, 2009, at St. Rita’s Medical Center.

She was born July 13, 1925, in Hardin County to R. Wayne and Anna Elzay, who preceded her in death. On July 30, 1944, she married Max Owen Klingler, who died Sept 28, 1990.

Mrs. Klingler retired from Wilson’s Sporting Goods, Ada, after 30 years. She was a member of Grace Gospel Church. Ada. She was a member of American Legion Post 185 Auxiliary, Ada. She was a 1943 graduate of Ada High School.

Survivors include a son, Richard Klingler, of Houston, Texas; three daughters, Nancy (David) Ehresman, of Omaha, Neb., Pam (Paul) Heinfeld, of Ada, and Kathy (Bradley) Griffin, of Mount Blanchard; 10 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and six sisters, Evelyn (Lester) Fleming, of Lafayette, Helen Smith, of Lima, Norma Davis, of Marion, Cecil Williams, of Cairo, Patricia Betz, of Kenton, and Phyllis Jean Vermillion, of Belle Center.

She was preceded in death by seven brothers, Ralph, Leo, Ray, Floyd, Gary, Wayne L. and Bill Wright; and two sisters, Shirley and Rosemary Wright.

Services will begin at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hanson-Neely Funeral Home, Ada. Pastor Trent Boedicker will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ada.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and until time of services Saturday at the funeral home.
