In Memory of
Elizabeth Ann (Eady) Aldridge

BIRTH: 25 May 1862 Petrolia, Ontario, Canada

DEATH: 07 Jan 1921 , Kalkaska, Michigan

Miss Elizabeth Eady was born May 25, 1861, in Patrolia, Canada. And passed this life January 6, 1921 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mabel Kelly in Springfield, at the age of 69 years, 7 months and 12 days. At the age of 12 she came with her parents to Kalkaska County, MI, settling upon the farm in Springfield Township, where she has since resided.

She was united in marriage to Mr. Luther Aldridge in 1880, who departed this life fifteen years ago.

To this union were born eight children, six of whom are living; three sons and three daughters – Mrs. Jessie Talbert of Detroit, Adolph of Walton, Tom of Detroit, Mrs. Mabel Kelly, Mrs. Martha Snyder, and Wilbur of Springfield; and two who passed away in infancy; also two brothers and one sister – Will and John Eady of Springfield, and Mrs. Alice Cunningham of Moorestown; twenty six grandchildren, besides a host of friends and neighbors who remain to mourn their loss.

Mrs. Aldridge had been in poor health for the last four years, but through it all she complained not but trusted her Lord, who was her consolation and source of strength; and now she enjoys the blessedness of seeing Him who is the resurrection and the life.

The funeral was held Sun, January 9 at the Disciple Church, Springfield, conducted by Rev. L.M. Whittemore of Fife Lake. Interment was in Springfield Cemetery beside her companion in life.
