Ceary Van Wagoner, age 87, died Saturday, June 28, 1947, at his home southeast of Millington. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, July 1, 1947, from Hanlin Funeral Home and at 2:30pm. From the Methodist Church, Rev. Duckworth officiating.
Burial in Millington Cemetery. Services by the W.E. Hanlin Funeral Home. He was ill the last several months. He was born in Oxford Twp, Oakland County, February 25, 1860, son of Denarvis and Mary VanWagoner; lived in Oakland County until he was 27 years old, balance of his life in Millington Twp.; married Laura Walker at Lapeer, March 20, 1893; was a life member of Millington Lodge F & AM 470; was a farmer. Surviving are: wife, Laura; 5 sons, James of Saginaw, Milo of Clio, Everett and Charles of Millington, Bruce at home; daughter, Ruth of Mount Pleasant.
