DEATH: 29 Nov 1924 Koylton, Tuscola, Michigan

Elizabeth Van Wagoner was born at Oakwood, Mich, Nov 17, 1844, and was the daughter of Denarvis and Mary Van Wagoner, being one of twelve children, six boys and six girls, they being pioneers of Oakland county. She passed away Nov. 29 1924 at the age of 80 years and 12 days. Deceased was a successful school teacher in that community for several years.
She was married to Herbert Baldwin at Oakwood on March 26 1872 where they resided farming for nine years, then moving to Koylton Township, Tuscola county, Michigan on a farm where they resided until her death. Mrs. Baldwin was of a sterling character and faithful Christian.
She leaves to mourn her departure her husband, one son, Eber, two grandchildren, Lloyd and Doris, one sister, Mrs. Fanny Dernberger of Detroit and five brothers, Fred of Oxford; Frank of Caro; James of Pontiac; Carrie of Millington and William of Kingston besides a host of relatives and friends. Four sisters and one brother have preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held at the home Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. Hocking officiating and internment was made in the Kingston cemetery under direction of Mr. N. Karr.
Those from out of town in attendance at the funeral were: Mrs. Dernberger, Mrs. Eugene Moshier and daughter Margaret, Mrs. Kate Turnstead, Ralph Van Wagoner, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Robinson and daughter of Oxford, James Van Wagoner and wife, George Campbell and wife, Kirk Campbell and wife, Howard Van Wagoner, Owen Van Wagoner and wife of Pontiac, Frank Van Wagoner and wife, Foster Sherman and wife of Caro; Mrs. Helen Giddings, Mr. and Mrs. Vern Giddings, of North Branch; J.W. Stephenson and wife, of Saginaw; Carey Van Wagoner and wife, of Millington; Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Stitt and daughter, Hazel of Cass City; Mr. and Mrs. Milton Starks an Mrs. Millie Farrer of Lapeer; Howard Robinson, of Marlette and Cora Sommerville of Burnside.
