Ardis Marie Watson, lifelong resident of Kalkaska, passed on Thu, Mar 4, 2010 at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center-LTC. She was born on May 27, 1919 in Kalkaska County, the daughter of the late Guy and Irene (Nash) Cross.
Ardis married Roy S Watson and he preceded her in death. She enjoyed putting puzzles together, reading, camping, and growing house plants. Ardis was a member of the Kalkaska Church of Christ.
Surviving Ardis are her children, Gordon G (Judy) Watson of Marshall, Wayne R (Sally) Watson of Kalkaska, Dale W. (Linda) Watson of East Jordon, Arnold G (Karen) Watson of Battle Creek, Phyllis M (Gary) Anderson of Marshall, AK, Sandra S Waltz and Kathryn A (Alan McCullen) McCauley, both of Kalkaska; 21 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren; her siblings, Gerald A. Cross of Kalkaska and Lawrence (Donna) Cross of Sun City, CA.
The funeral service will be on Sun, Mar 7 at 2 pm at the Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home with Jeff Badgero officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior tot he service. Burial will be at Excelsior Township Cemetery.
