Thomas J Stacy, 73, of 5061 Merwin Rd, Lapeer, died after a long illness Thu, Oct 17, in the Lapeer Hospital. He was born Oct 5, 1895, in Elba Twp, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Stacy. He married Helen J Sanford Nov 9, 1921.
Mr. Stacy, a retired construction worker, had lived in the area all his life.
Surviving are his wife, Helen; a son, Francis of Lapeer; 3 daughters, Mrs. Catherine King of Byron, Mrs. Mary Brazie of Lapeer and Mrs. Rita J Birchmeier of Flint; a brother, Robert of Pontiac; 11 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
Service was held Monday in Immaculate Conception Church with Father Goentges officiating. Rosary had been said Sunday in the Muir Brothers Funeral Home. Burial was in Mt Loretto Cemetery.
