Helen J Stacy, 89, of Lapeer, died Sep 9, 1986 at Lapeer County General Hospital.
She was born Jul 2, 1897, in Elba Township, to Frank and Johanna (McCarthy) Sanford. She married Thomas Stacy, on Nov 9, 1921, in Lapeer, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Stacy was a homemaker. She was a member of the Blue Star Mothers and the Lapeer County General Hospital Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Immaculate Conception Church.
She is survived by a son, Francis (and wife) Esther Stacy of Lapeer; three daughters, Mrs. Eugene (Catherine) King of Bancroft, Mrs. Paul (Mary) Brazie of Lapeer, Mrs. Tom (Rita) Birchmeier of Flint; 11 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; two sisters, Margaret Baucom of Lapeer, Mary Kreiner of North Branch. She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, and a granddaughter.
Rosary devotions were recited on Sep 11 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home, Lapeer.
Services were held Sep 12 at Immaculate Conception Church. Rev Father Doc Ortman officiated. Burial was in Mt Loretto Cemetery.
