Ronald Frank Westover, age 79, of Sault Ste Marie, MI passed away at home on Mon, Dec 6, 2021.
Ronald was born in Flint, MI on Jan 29, 1942. He served his country in the U.S. Army and spent time overseas in Germany where he married his wife, Heike Bedau. He worked for GM for 23 years in Saginaw and retired in 1994 to come to the U.P. He loved it up here, where he grew up loving the outdoors, going fishing and hunting.
Surviving him is his wife: Heike Westover; his son James Westover, one grandson, one granddaughter, five sisters, and their families.
Ronald was preceded in death by his two daughters, Heide Ann Blood and Janet Westover, also a step-daughter: Jean Ellen Smith.
He will be dearly missed.
A graveside committal service will be held at 10 am on Fri, May 27, 2022 at Cottle Cemetery with Veteran’s Honor Ceremony.
