Roberta F. Hodge, 84, of Hammond, IL, passed away at 12:20 am Mon, Mar 31, 2008 at the Arthur Home, Arthur, IL.
Memorial Services will be held at 6pm, Fri, Apr 4, 2008 at the Shrader Funeral Home, 431 South Vine St, Arthur, IL, with the Rev. John Stewart officiating. No visitation will be held. Private family burial will be at a later date.
Mrs. Hodge was born on Mar 13, 1924 in Effingham, IL, the daughter of George and Addie Smith Owens. She married Fred I. Hodge on Apr 7, 1944. He preceded her in death on Dec 5, 1998.
Survivors include: 2 sons: Bob Hodge of Hammond, IL, James Hodge of Olathe, KS, 2 brothers: Dean Owens of Mattoon, IL, Glen Owens of Coffeyville, KS, 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 1 son: Don Hodge, 2 brothers, and 1 half-brother.
Memorials are suggested to the Arthur Home.
Mrs. Hodge was a former postal clerk and she retired from Schrock Cabinet Factory in Arthur, IL. She had been a former Cub Scout Den Mother.
