N. Marie Hall, age 83, of Edmore, MI, passed away on Sat, Nov 3, 2007, at the Gratiot Medical Center in Alma, MI. She was born on May 22, 1924, in Kalkaska, the daughter of Ralph and Dora (Hart) Ball.
Marie married Clifford J Hall on Oct 22, 1942, in Kalkaska. She was very active in her church all of her life and was most recently a member at the Ferris Center Church of Christ.
She was a mother to many foster children in her life, a dorm mother at Kentucky Christian College, and was very involved with the baby pantry at church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was also a farmer for many years.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Dora Ball; husband, Clifford J Hall in 1988; two brothers, Max and Doyle; and two sisters, Donna and Bea.
She is survived by six children: Ronald (Priscilla Hall of Calahan, FL, Linda (Philip Turner of Edmore, MI, Kathy Darland of Denton, KY, Roger (Mary) Hall of Sumner, MI, Randy (Elizabeth) Hall of Grayson, KY; 14 grandchildren, Christopher, Bradley, Vicki (Danny), Brad, Eric, Chad (Laura), Jessica, Shane (Lisa), Scott, Jill, Cody, Logan, Tiffany, and Cole; six great grandchildren, Jessie, Kyle, Kayla, Jacob, Zachary, and Conner; and brother, Rolland (Barbara) Ball of Kalkaska.
Funeral services were held on Nov 7, 2007, at 2 pm at the Ferris Center Church of Christ with Pastor David Nicholson officiating. Interment will be in Lodi Cemetery in Kalkaska, MI.
