Marcia Diane (Haskin) Perry, born August 3, 1949, to Lester and Elizabeth (Birgy) Haskin in Kalkaska County, Michigan passed away quietly at home surrounded by her family on September 18, 2018.
Marcia was a lifelong resident of Manton, retiring in 1997 from Cadillac State Bank/ NBD after more than 25 years of service. In May 1999, Marcia purchased the Hollywood Bar in Lake City, Michigan, where she enjoyed more than 17 years of proprietorship.
While she will be missed by all, she is survived by three children, Stephen (Sue) Perry of Cadillac, Michigan, Dena (Paul) Koll of Lake City, Michigan, and Shani (Rick) Anstett of Manton, Michigan; five grandchildren, Jordan Hayes, Jake Dykhouse, Joshua Gill, Sara Bartmess and Kyle Perry; six great grandchildren; four brothers, William (Jeanette) Haskin of Fife Lake, Michigan, Charles Haskin of Lansing, Michigan, Theodore (Cathy) Haskin of Hold, Michigan, Dennis (Mary) Haskin of Hamburg, Michigan; one sister, Sandra Mazy of Cocoa Beach, Florida.
Marcia was preceded in death by her father, Lester Haskin; her mother, Elizabeth (Birgy) Haskin; two brothers, Douglas and Felice Haskin; and two sisters, Rose Bainbridge and Vickie Sanders.
Marcia’s door was always open and if you were in her house, she was your mother! She had a kind of giving heart almost to a fault. Per Marcia’s wishes, there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to your local Hospice, The Manton Senior Center and the Manton Museums.
The Burkholder Family Funeral Home in McBain is handling the funeral arrangements.
