Lois Audrey Makinen, 83, died Sun, Oct 26, 2014, in Rockville, MD.
Lois was the beloved wife of the late Richard Makinen; mother of Robert Makinen, James (Dee) Makinen and Paul Makinen; grandmother of Kathleen, Kali, Melissa, Kyle, and Geri; and great grandmother of Pierson. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Gertrude (Seaman) Stephens; half sisters, Virginia Seaman Shaffer, Doris Stephens Soukup Johnson, and Merle Stephens Bauman.
Services were held at Collins Funeral Home in Silver Springs, MD, on Sat, Nov 29, Interment with her late husband will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
