Laurie Sue Glynn, age 64, passed away suddenly Thu, Mar 9, 2023, at her home.
Laurie Sue McMann was born on Sep 20, 1958, to parents Eldon & Joy (Stimson) McMann. She was one of five children and graduated from Vassar High School in 1977. On Feb 10, 1979, she married the love of her life, Randall “Randy” L. Glynn. Together they raised their four children: Michael, Valerie, Jeffrey, and Matthew; and shared 37 years of marriage before Randy’s passing in 2016. Laurie was an avid crafter and loved making jewelry. Further, she loved to read and sew. Above all, Laurie loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
Laurie is forever loved by her children: Michael (Dawn) Glynn, Valerie Zajac, Jeffrey Glynn, and Matthew Glynn; four grandchildren: Amber Glynn, Bryan Wright, Lucas Zajac, and Eric Glynn; siblings: Joy McMann, Robyn McMann-Johnson, and Robert McMann; father in law, Clarence Glynn; sister in law, Lorri (Tim) Ellison; as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Randy; parents, Eldon & Joy; brother, Bill McCann; and mother in law, Evelyn Glynn.
Laurie’s family will welcome guests to Hanlin Funeral Home – Vassar from 2 to 8pm on Tue, Mar 14, 2023, and again on Wed, Mar 15, 2023, from 10 am until the time of Laurie’s 11 am funeral service.
