Kenneth D. Timmins, 68, of Holt died Thursday, November 7, 1974 at his hoe after a sudden illness. The son of Daniel and Susan Timmins he was born at Fife Lake on October 21, 1906.
A veteran of WW II, he was a member of the Michigan State Employees Association and the Association of Michigan Bank Examiners. In the early 1930's Mr. Timmins was employed at the Kalkaska State Bank. He was employed by the State of Michigan as a bank examiner for 35 years retiring on July 10, 1974. He became a resident of the Lansing and Holt area after residing at Hartford for 27 years. Mr. Timmins was a member of the First Christian Church.
Surviving are a brother, John Timmins of Lake Worth, Florida; a sister, Mrs. Ernest (Retha) Olney of Muskegon Heights; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, November 11, 1974 at Estes-Leadley Colonial Chapel in Lansing with the Rev. Arthur Turner Officiating. Graveside services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Clark Cemetery, Springfield Township, Fife Lake.
