June Ardella (Gauld) Haskin, of Cadillac, Mich., passed away on Friday, March 7, 2014. She was 75.
June was vacationing in Hawaii when she passed and was doing one of her favorite things – traveling and seeing new and exciting things. The only thing she liked more was spending time with her family, which was her greatest treasure. June was always very eager to help where she could and being a pediatric nurse for many years allowed her to practice that passion for helping and loving people.
June was born on June 11, 1938, in Negaunee, Mich., to Clifford and Bertha Gauld. She married Felice “Din” Haskin in December 1955 and together they raised four sons.
She is survived by her four sons: Kevin (Judy) of Rockford, Mich., Bryan (Debbie) of Jacksonville, Fla., Brent (Mary) of Belle Isle, Fla., Kelly (Julie) of Toledo, Ohio; brothers: Gordon of Mt. Pleasant, Mich., Gary of Three Rivers, Mich.; sister, Sandra Pifer of Rochester, NY; eight grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
June was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers: Dermont, James, Clarence, Keith, Verl, Pat, Lynn; and sisters, Verda and Lil.
Memorial services are pending, and June has requested that any memorial contributions be made in her name to St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Her final resting place will be Clark Cemetery in Fife Lake next to her husband of 40 years.
