Services for Bertha Gauld, 80, of Manton, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Manton Baptist Church. Rev. Joseph Hilyard will officiate.
Mrs. Gauld died Sunday morning in Cadillac's Mercy Hospital, following a short illness.
She was born Bertha Jenkins Feb 7, 1902 in West Virginia and married Clifford Gauld Aug. 26, 1920 in Fife Lake. He died in 1943.
She moved to Michigan as a child, living in several communities, and moved to Manton 38 years ago. she was a member of the Manton Baptist Church.
Mrs. Gauld is survived by seven sons, Clarence of Traverse City, Gordon of Mount Pleasant, Verl of Wisconsin, Gary of Kalamazoo, Keith of Lake Ann, Patrick of Cadillac and Lynn of Manton; and four daughters. Verda (Mrs. Richard) Barnes of Manton, Lillian (Mrs. Robert) Cunningham and Sandra (Mrs. William) Pifer of New York, and June (Mrs. Felice) Haskin of Pickney.
Also surviving are two brothers, Joseph Jenkins of Frederick and Ted of Manton; two sister, Roxie (Mrs. Ken) Thornton of Florida and Thelma) O'Dell of Manton; and 37 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Burial will be in the Springfield Township Cemetery in Fife Lake Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. today and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Hall Funeral Home in Manton.
