Hattie L. Jors, 93, who has been living with her granddaughter, Mrs. Glen Conaway, in Grand Rapids for the past several years, passed away at Butterworth Hospital there on Friday, June 16, 1961. Mrs. Jors was born on September 17, 1867, to Mr. and Mrs. John Clark.
Surviving is a son, Harold of Florida; a granddaughter, Mrs. Glen Conaway of Grand Rapids; two great grandchildren of Grand Rapids; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. on June 19, 1961, at the Schwartz Funeral Home with Paul Stacy of the Church of Christ officiating. Burial was in Springfield Cemetery at Fife Lake, and pallbearers were Fay Jenkins, Floyd Jenkins, Clayton Sherwood, Paul Fudge, Arthur Sieting, and Leon Bracey.
