Mrs. Mattie Swinn, 82, who lived with her son, Guy Warren, in Casco township, died at 3:10 o'clock Monday afternoon at the South Haven hospital, where she had been admitted on Saturday.
Mrs. Swinn was born on July 8, 1866, in Marion, O. She came to Casco township six years ago from Grand Rapids.
Besides her son, Guy, she leaves another sonn, Ray of Grand Rapids; a daughter, Mrs. Bess Moore of Santa Cruz, Calif.; six grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Hattie Jors, of Kalkaska, Mich; and a brother, Will Clark of Fife Lake, Mich.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Everson Funeral Home. The Rev. James G. Crosby pastor of the Evangelical United Brethren Church of Casco, will officiate.
Rites also will be conducted at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at Fife Lake. Burial will be in the Clark Cemetery at Fife Lake.
