Frances M. Sewell, 2505 Alpha St, age 82, did May 20, 1977 in Traverse City. She was born Jul 6, 1894 in McBride, MI. She had been a resident of Lansing since 1925. She was a member of Pride of Ingham Rebekah Lodge, IOOF #496. She was the wife of Albert Sewell who preceded her in death. Surviving are 6 daughters: Mrs. Bernard (Beatrice) Moyer, Traverse City, Mrs. John (Ida) Bryant, Lansing, Mrs. William (Albertina – Tiny) Fuller, Eagle, Mrs. Walter (Beulah) Reynolds, Holt, Mrs. Mike (Mary) Niznak, Lansing, Mrs. Russell (Betty) Wagonshutz, DeWitt. 2 sons: Ernest W. Sewell and Howard G Sewell both of Lansing. 27 grandchildren. 22 great grandchildren. 1 sister, Mrs. Henry (Mae) Christiansen, Cedar Lake, MI. 2 nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11:30am at the Gorsline-Runciman Lansing Chapel with Rev. Sam H Evans, pastor of Central United Methodist Church officiating. Interment at Deepdale Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Joseph Brooks, Robert Wyant, Kenneth Catlin, William Frisbie, Mile Olstrom, John Eddy. The family will receive friends at the Chapel on Monday from 7 to 9 pm.
