Mrs. Louis Ely, age 66 years, passed away Tuesday, April 23rd, at her Springfield Township home, where she had lived fore the past 34 years.
Mrs. Ely was well known and highly respected in the neighborhood where she had spent so many years.
Mr. Ely passed away several years ago, dropping dead while fishing on Fife Lake. Since his death the wife has continued to live on the farm with her son Perry. Besides the son, a daughter, Mrs. Alger Battenfield, also of Springfield Township survives.
Funeral services are being held this afternoon at the Clark Church. Rev. Long of Green Lake officiates and Mr. Brower of Fife Lake is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Ely was a native of North Solon, Ohio.
