William M Spears, 87, Pickerington, died Fri, May 28, 1993, at Mount Carmel East Hospital.
He was a retired employee of the Pickerington Creamery. He served 56 years with the Violet Township Fire Department and six years as village councilman. He was a member of Peace United Methodist Church, Pickerington Senior Citizens, past master of Potter Lodge 540 F&AM and AASR.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Helen M. (Fenstermaker) Spears; son and daughter in law, Robert and Patti Spears of Pickerington; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and two brothers and nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Sat at the Dwayne R Spence Funeral Home, Pickerington, where funeral services will be held 1 pm Sunday, with the Rev. Craig D Jones officiating. Interment will be at Violet Cemetery.

Masonic services will be held 8:30 pm Saturday at the funeral home.
