William Charles Calkins Jr, 41, of Tarpon Springs, formerly of Clearwater, died Mon (Oct 7, 2002) in Atlanta where he was working temporarily. He was born in Clearwater and moved in 1963 to Tarpon Springs. He was a member of First United Methodist Church of Tarpon Springs. Survivors include two daughters, Erica Calkins, Tarpon Springs, and Denise Kareotes, Morton, IL; his mother Nancy Calkins, Tarpon Springs; his father and stepmother, William and Sharon Calkins, Jacksonville; a sister, Connie Bennett, Tarpon Springs; and two brothers, Chris, Holiday, and Jonathan, Jacksonville.
