Vonda Louise Fyfe, 83, of Fort Gratiot, formerly of Harbor Beach, passed away Friday, June 8, 2012, at her home.
She was born April 2, 1929, in Harbor Beach, to the late Robert and Bernice (Brown) Jeffers. Vonda and Charles Fyfe were united in marriage Nov. 8, 1947, in Harbor Beach. He preceded her in death Aug. 23, 2008.
Vonda enjoyed drawing, sewing and crafting. She was a member of the Community of Christ Church, and often setup the worship centers for the church, she also enjoyed playing the organ.
She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl LePage of Fort Gratiot; four granddaughters; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Thomas Jeffers and his wife, Arlene, of Allen Park; and JoAnne Leese and her husband, Bernard, of Port Hope.
Vonda was preceded in death by brother, Robert Jeffers; and sister, Betty (Alvin) Guitar.
Funeral service for Vonda will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Ramsey Funeral Home of Harbor Beach, with high Priest Tom Jeffers officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Falls Cemetery.
Visitation for Vonda will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Monday in the funeral home and from noon until time of services Tuesday.
