Virginia L. Lynch, 79, a resident of Fife Lake since 1941, died Sunday, July 29, 1990 at Traverse City Osteopathic Hospital.
Mrs. Lynch, a homemaker, was a member of the Fife Lake Methodist Church and the Fife Lake Historical Society.
She was born on July 19, 1911 in Oak Park, Illinois to Eugene E. and Mae (Woodka) Bailey. On July 4, 1937, she was united in marriage in Illinois to Frederick A. Lynch, who preceded her in death on Sept 7, 1988.
She is survived by three sons, Jack Steele of Long Beach, Calif, Gene Lynch of Williamsburg, and Jim Zahl of Three Oaks, Michigan; one daughter, Catherine Taylor of Calumet, Illinois; 14 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Virginia Tilly, and one brother, Jack Bailey.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Thursday. Rev. Gary Wales, pastor of the Fife Lake Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be at Clark Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
