Vernon “Vern” Earnest Clapsaddle, age 61, of Marlette, MI passed away at his home with family by his side, Wed, Jul 20, 2022.
Vern was born the youngest of four sons on Oct 13, 1960 in Marlette, MI. He attended Marlette High School in his younger years. He met Michelle Vincent and they were married in 1984. Vern worked for the Marlette Cemetery and Hansons Concrete. He later went on to work as a mold operator for Vibracoustic in Sandusky, MI. Vern enjoyed 70s rock music, Chuck Berry, Elvis, Willie Nelson. In his free time, Vern liked to ride his moped and play his harmonica. Above all else, he loved being a grandpa.
Vern is survived by his wife of 38 years, Michelle Clapsaddle; children, Ron (Sarah) Clapsaddle, Nicole (Chris) Patrick, Dustin (Michelle) Clapsaddle, and David (Melissa) Clapsaddle; grandchildren, Taylor, Zachary, Ethan, Kelcey, Michenzie, Jasmine, Emma, Alexis, Adyson, Dylan, Hayden, and Isabella; great granddaughter, Ariella; brother, Chuck (Marilyn) Clapsaddle; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
Vern was preceded in death by his parents, Wayne and Maxine (McQuarrie) Clapsaddle; and brothers, Robert and Jerry.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
