Venus Marie Huyck, 66, of Madison Township, died the morning of September 19, 1986, at Bixby Hospital in Adrian.
She was born in Fairfield Township on May 9, 1920, to Elmer and Ethel (Plate) Hillard. She was married to Howard Huyck on September 28, 1940.
Mrs. Huyck was a member of the First Christian Church, and the Telephone Reassurance Program for Catholic Social Services. She was also equipment chairman for the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Surviving are her husband; one son, Paul of Manitou Beach; one daughter, Mrs. Dale (Carole) Stewart of Adrian; six grandchildren; two brothers, Raymond Hillard of Adrian and George Hillard of Sand Creek, and one sister, Mrs. James (Beverly) Baldwin of Adrian.
Funeral services will be Mon at 1pm at the Braun Bros. Funeral Home in Adrian, with the Rev. R. Bradley DeFord officiating. Burial will be in Lyons Cemetery.
