Mrs. Theresa M. Waterman, 80, of Rapid City, died Tuesday, Sept 26, 1989, at Munson Medical Center.
Mrs. Waterman resided in Kalkaska County for the past 13 years, having moved here from Southfield. She enjoyed painting and playing the piano and was a member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church.
She was born in Detroit May 28, 1909, to Stanley and Mary Modlinski Glinski. Oct 15, 1938, in Detroit, she was united in marriage with Lynn Waterman who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Richard Waterman of Rapid City; three daughters, Mary Ann Waterman of Farmington, Judith Roy and Frances Mikula of Redford; two brothers, Henry Glinski of Livonia and Ed Glinski of Florida; one sister, Mary Hope Glinski, I.H.M. of Detroit; 14 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
One son, Lynn Waterman, Jr., preceded her in death.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Friday, Sept. 29 at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church. Father Patrick J. Barrett officiated. Burial was in Clearwater Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County. Arrangements were made by Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska.
