Sherry "Wheezer" Gordon, 56, of Fife Lake passed away on Apr 16, 2004, at home.
Born on Sep 1, 1947, in Detroit, she was the daughter of Orland and Helen Major.
Sherry married Raymond J Gordon on Jan 31, 1974. She attended Fife Lake Baptist Church. Sherry had a great sense of humor. Her family was very important to her and she loved them immensely.
Sherry is survived by her children, Michael R Gordon of Traverse City, Lea (Tim) Selph of Petoskey, John (Patti) Gordon of Fife Lake, Julie Hall of South Boardman, Jane Gordon of Chicago, IL, Kelly (Robert) Uptegraft of Manton, Jeremiah (Donna) Gordon of Fife Lake, Cynthia (Harold) Green of Fife Lake, Martha Gordon of Traverse City, Christopher (Tammy) Gordon of Lansing, Joseph (Angel) Gordon of South Boardman, Mary Gordon of Chicago, IL; 26 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; her brothers and sisters, Michael Medaris of FL, Daniel Medaris of Shephardsville, KY, Jackie (Pat) Pearce of Indian Head, MD, Carrol Cort of South Boardman, Michelle Major of Fife Lake, Ruth Roy of Fife Lake; 15 nieces and nephews, 36 great nieces and nephews, and three great great nieces and nephews.
Preceding Sherry in death was her husband; her biological parents, Charles and Sarah Medaris; sisters, Karen Buston and Orlanda Bevis; and brother in law, Lyle Roy.
The funeral service was held on Tue, Apr 20, at Fife Lake Baptist Church, with the Rev Bruce A VanDussen officiating. Interment was at Boardman Cemetery.
Arrangements were made by Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska.
