Ronald Dean Vermillion, 58, died at 8 am Jul 30, 1998, at his residence.
He was born Aug 4, 1939, in Auglaize County to Jesse E. and Edna Irene Van Sky Vermillion. On Dec 24, 1956, he married Phyllis Jean Wright, who survives.
Mr. Vermillion retired after 23 years service with Rockwell International, Kenton. He was a member of Eagles Lodge 2163, and Moose Lodge 428, both of Kenton.
Survivors also include a son, Jeffrey D. (Carol J) Vermillion of Kenton; three daughters, Patricia D (Lewis) Heilman and Tamara J. (Melvin) Helton, both of Kenton, and Kandace R. Hopson of Lima; three brothers, Lloyd Vermillion of Kenton, Clyde Vermillion of Springfield and Raymond Vermillion of Waynesfield; four sisters, Norma Jean Davis of Waynesfield, Wanda Hamilton and Donna DeLong, both of Kenton, and Carol DeLong of Belle Center; and 13 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers; two sisters; and a granddaughter.
Services will begin at 10:30 am Monday at Schindewolf-Stevens-Stout Funeral Home, Kenton. The Rev. Dean Wasson will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview McDonald Cemetery.
Friends may call from noon to 8 pm. Sunday at the funeral home.
