Robert A. Johnson, 37, of Alden, died Apr 27, 1998, at his home.
Mr. Johnson moved to Kalkaska from the Grand Rapids area. At the time of his death he was employed by Yuker Construction Company in Gaylord. He enjoyed hunting.
Born in Grand Rapids Feb 11, 1961, he was the son of William and Shirley Hendricks Johnson. He married Sharon Morris, who preceded him in death on Dec 24, 1986.
Surviving are son Jesse Johnson of Kalkaska; mother Shirley Johnson of Kalkaska; brothers Larry and Bill Johnson, both of Grand Rapids; sisters Cherlynn Wysocki of Kalkaska, Bonnie Gordon of Petoskey, Lori Schroeder of Grand Rapids, and Joni Gates of Middleville; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by son James and paternal grandparents Earl and Dorothy Hendricks.
Funeral services were held May 1 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Neil Hendricks officiated. Burial will be in Rockford Cemetery at a later date.
