Ricky D. Davis, 38, of Fife Lake, died Wednesday at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
He owned and operated the Davis Country View Foster Care Home in Fife Lake since moving there in 1981.
Born Dec. 5, 1956, in Detroit, he was the son of Orville G. and Agnes (Martin) Davis.
He is survived by his wife, Judy Davis of Fife Lake; two daughters, Tammy Cecil and Tracy Gustafson, both of Fife Lake; five grandchildren, Jessie, Chucky, Justin, Janelle, and Ricky; his mother, Agnes Davis of Taylor; three brothers, Kenneth Davis, Patrick Davis, and Mark Davis, all of Taylor; and six sisters, Sandra Harper and Sharon Deegan, both of Taylor, Virginia Rowley of Baltimore, Md., Beverly Jarvis of Riverview, Patricia Moore of Elmira, and Kathleen Davis of Wayne.
He was preceded in death by his father in 1981; and his brother, Steven on Dec 18, 1994.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Covell-Smith Funeral Home in Kingsley, Pastor Jon Harwood will officiate. Burial will be in Springfield Cemetery, Fife Lake.
