Richard L Dodds, 48, R.R. 3, was dead on arrival at the Blackford County Hospital Monday after suffering a coronary attack. He was an employee of a dairy farm and a veteran of WWII.
Surviving are his wife Betty; two daughters, Mrs. Patricia L Ramseyer, Montpelier, and Mrs. Sandra K Bajko, at home; two sons, Richard L Dodds Jr, Hartford City, and Robert Gene Dodds, at home; five sisters, Mrs. Janice Dearduff, Mrs. Beulah Hudson, Mrs. Julia Michael, Mrs. Ruby Overmeyer and Mrs. Phyllis Vetor, all of Hartford City; a brother, Joe Dodds, Hartford City; and five grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 10:30am Thursday in Keplinger Funeral Home with Rev William Cunningham officiating. Military graveside rites will be in the IOOF Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after 2 pm today.
